Ok, me n sam are trying to get from lancaster to London (SW) balham. the only trains we can find are costing around 137 quid 😯
Do any of you lot know of a cheaper way of doing it. we need to be at this interview for 3 pm and back in lancaster that night. i looked at flights which were cheaper but the transfer from the airports cost a fortune.
Help really needed and much appreciated.

yeah had a look of them but sams got work till 6pm on the 28th, the interviews on the 29th and shes back at work on the 30th at 9 am

do you have it on cd ? i been trying to get it but his cd`s are hard to get hold of . the other set i have is jungle massive ,it starts off with super sharp shooter . let me know if you want it .

Having looked at various ways to get to scotland from the south coast this summer and last i have to agree with the car rental idea (if you can drive ect,) as public transport over long distance is shite. Coachs take too long, you’ll have to sell a kidney to fund a train trip and i’ve yet to find those 50p internal flights i keep hearing about.

Once again ignore if neither of you can drive… borrow a friend/families car and get insured on a daily basis, it cost my misus £21 for the day to drive a family members car down from manchester and she’s a shockingly bad driver!I had a go on the NX540 to London and back myself in 2004 – not the most confortable of trips but luckily wasn’t alone which helped pass the time. You won’t get a cheaper way… Even rental won’t come close. Do both of you even need to be at the interview? Save a couple of quid and send the one who needs to go down :O £45 for the pair of you return by coach, from Manchester though. If you’re ordering online you can get concessionary fare for having a disabled passenger and won’t be required to submit details or proof of the disability. Don’t worry about being found out either as I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to convince them if they ask 😛 1 being disabled will cost £37. 1 being alone costs £22.50 and 1 being alone and disabled is £12.50
well il be in london euston at about 12.30 tomorrow, then gettin a couple of trains to balham for sams interview.
are there any good pubs round there? im gonna have some time to kill.Im going to be at Paddington at about that time tomorrow… but heading to Cheltenham… could have had a beer otherwise 🙁
gonna be getting the train from euston to lanc at about 19.30. if we go any later it’ll take over 8 hours to get home…
