Nice to see el sPUNKo making an appearance on NZ Fortress last night (morning). Perhaps we should try and hook up on a US server and share the ping pain?

off to the UK for a week so It will have to wait a bitSometime at the weekend maybe? I’d love to have a game with you again Judge 🙂 I think I tried one morning, but the ping was ridiculous and had to quit.

Good question, it’s unlikely to be tonight as I’m shattered, but what about the morning/afternoon tomorrow or even Sunday?
Good to see ya m8 (and you JAR), sorry I had to dash off. Was tricky playing with a high ping, probably worse for you. There must be a better server maybe US isn’t the way to go. Singapore perhaps? I’ll complile a list of possibles this week.
I’d be interested to know what ping you get to Australian servers i.e Gamespace or Internode.
tbh I only find it tricky when my ping hits around 300, so that server we played goldrush on wasn’t too bad (although with a few good players on, it might get irritating ;))
I tried pinging this gamespace server 203.34.186.31:27085, and this internode server 150.101.183.75:27015, but both average around 500ms which wouldn’t be playable 🙁
Sometimes late at night on the weekends I’ll find myself on servers from this US site, http://www.teamfortress2fort.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; (ips on their frontpage), and I usually ping them around 250. It would be interesting to see what you get to them, as there are usually good games on there.
