First look..
Handballs!
http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/109/1095409p1.html
space isnt going to like the pace has been made slower, but
it’s impossible not to glean from the game’s official ‘We’re 11’ tag-line that controllable keepers may finally become a part of Be a Pro, enabling true 11 vs. 11 online play. What really matter is what happens on the pitch, and in that regard FIFA 11’s looking in fantastic shape.
BAP keepers.. Sweet, no more wank chip goals!
June 11, 2010 at 1:22 pm #76426XDCErratic-SpaceParticipantLookin’ good. The pace thing will be interesting to see how it rolls out? Controlling gk! Does that mean we’ll be able to pull of the scorpian?!

As the action heats up in South Africa in the midst of the World Cup semi-finals EA Sports has dropped details on one of FIFA 11’s new features, a mode that allows players to build their own players and clubs from scratch.
Dubbed the Creation Centre, it’s a web-based application that allows player appearance, attributes and abilities to be edited as well as team names, stadiums, kits and crest – all of which means we can finally resurrect our own beloved Deptford Wednesday.
“Having the ability to customize content in FIFA 11 to the degree where you are creating players and teams, choosing player attributes and managing team tactics effortlessly from the web opens up a world of possibilities of original content that fans will be able to create,” said producer David Rutter in the official blurb.

July 23, 2010 at 4:12 pm #76432airmessyParticipantI am sold. I will be getting it.
July 24, 2010 at 10:43 am #76433XDCiNSANEParticipantShame it wont be on the Sexbox.. Ringers FTW!
Speaking of which, I upgraded to the new one on release, yeah I’m a sucker for it, it really is that good.
Only wanted it for the 250GB HDD, however it now matches my AV gear so a bonus, and is sooo quiet
July 24, 2010 at 5:14 pm #76434airmessyParticipantI wont ever get one, not while they still charge you a small fee for playing online.

Same here, as good as fifa looks and sounds 🙁
July 24, 2010 at 5:48 pm #76436XDCErratic-SpaceParticipantHmmm yeah I know some people don’t like the fact you have to pay but these days that’s the way things seem to be going. For the level of enjoyment we’ve had playing FIFA though it hasn’t hurt that much.
July 25, 2010 at 12:09 pm #76437XDCiNSANEParticipantAye £40 (the price of a game where some I have had about 3 hours gameplay on) a year is a bit expensive and I’m out of work 🙄 .. Still I see PS3 have started to charge now, infact they always have if you count the downloadable games, AND I noticed this am they charge for videos which preview up coming games, wtf, you cant even demo any of the downloadable games pre buy, at least LIVE have trial games on all there marketplace content which allows you to choose whether you want to buy em or not.. if you add it all up I wouldnt be surprised if it costs more depending on content you want from PS3
Also theres rumours a foot huge companies will be charging monthly fees to game, one of which was IW.. although this has possibly been squashed now, but I expect them too charge for something in the future.. its going tits up all round
Anyhoos not getting into an argument re which is better, both have there pluses and minuses.. pluses are xbox is far superior for online gaming and controller, PS3 is far superior in terms of media playing i.e. streaming Bluray and watching bluray/upscaling DVD.. just glad I have both
Oh and dont even think of bringing the PC to the argument! 🙂
July 25, 2010 at 12:20 pm #76438XDCiNSANEParticipantNew details – Finally, the option to save a replay even in an online game to your HDD ready to upload to EA later! Sweet!

Sounds like you’ll all be able to go for the ball which as we all know is something that can’t be done right now.
The passing (ping-pong) stuff – I’m happy with this being changed. I like the idea that it takes more skill to get the ball to the player. Ping-pong passing will still be available but only if you’re actually decent at getting the power right. Sounds as it should be to me.
And the ability to involve team mates in celebrations should be fun.
