Hi all. I used to play for a couple of ’42 teams. Team friction and IWM and regularily played on your server. I remember it being well populated and not too many knobs.
Not touched a PC game in years (ps 3….) but was on youtube and eventually stumbled across some BF vids.
A very nostalgic hour and then started to think of the guys who i used to help improve their stats.
Just thought i would pop in and say Hi.Hey Ingot, welcome to the forums, and nice of you to sign up after all this time 🙂
The 42 days are all lost to me in a haze of alcohol and heavy smoking, but I do remember the name team friction very well, although I’m not sure exactly where from. Did we play you guys in one of the Jolt or EBFL leagues, or is it from battlefield1942.co.uk forums that I know the name? Also I may have convinced myself of this, but I think I even remember you 🙂 What was it you were really annoying at? Were you a pilot or an awesome tank driver? Those were good times anyway, and it’s always good catching up again with guys from the past.
You may actually even find a friend here in Turksmeister btw, who’s also gone over to the darkside that is the ps3 🙂 Most of the rest of us are relatively sane though sticking with the PC, except for a couple named otherwise 🙂
we played (badly) in a league, cant remember which. I was so so in a tank, pants in a plane.
when i meant i have a ps3 i should have said the missus uses it a hdd recorder for the tv. bargin.

😀 add me to your steam friends and I’ll show you the ropes. For no particular reason I stopped playing it about Easter time, and need an excuse to start it up again 🙂
