It’s a little confusing as to when we’ll get to play BF3 in the UK, some reports say it won’t be until the 28th, whereas some reports are stating that Origin Customer Support saying that if you pre-ordered through them ,you can play on the 25th, and then theres some that say, you might be able to play it in the UK through a proxy that gives you a US IP address.
I guess we’ll see on Tuesday.

ParticipantThey did in the Beta didnt they?
October 20, 2011 at 6:57 pm #79486Alzir
KeymasterNo, they allowed people who had preordered to play the beta 2 days before it was opened to the public. Hope it’s not true about waiting for the 28th.

ParticipantCould be worse, the Japs have to wait until the Nov 2nd.

Participantdon’t think so, but when they’re ordered by ping it would look that way naturally I suppose

KeymasterAccording to the email I’ve just received advising I can now preload the limited edition (the pre ordered version which included early beta access), I can start playing the game on the 27th.

Just got this……….
Dear Customer,
We recently sent you an email with details containing pre-load instructions for Battlefield 3. The game release date in those instructions refers to US Central Daylight Time.
For clarification, your local live date to begin playing the game is: October 28th, 2011.
Sincerely,
