    keep getting this error message after a few minutes:

    Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player ‘XDCwildeggtamer’ (for 0 minutes) … RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe initialization failed

    I’ve manually updated pb a few times but still not having any luck getting into the game. I know hardware isn’t an issue and when I do the pb update it comes back as ok so any other ideas chaps?

    I can’t believe that it’s been a few years since I played a BF game and punkbuster is still causing aggro!

    have you restarted your pc since doing the manual update?

    other than that have you got a rule to allow PB through a firewall/router?

    He got it sorted out with pbupdater. Now some key tuning and wet is ready. 8)

    yup, went to evenbalance.com and d/l’d the pbupdater tool……….all good and now for some key binding and i’m ready to go 😉
