Well first of all, we’re still running TS2, which may be tricky to get hold off now ts3 is out, but the IP is 85.236.100.27:11337 and there’s no pass.

install,
open up, go to “connection” (top left) and click “connect”
on the right you will see some boxes to be filled in, the label doesn’t matter, call it what you will, but the second box down “server address” needs to be 85.236.100.27:11337 (anyone else note the irony that the XDC ts server contains 1337 at the end?)
Put in your preffered moniker for the Username”
make sure the “anonymous” radio button is checked for now and uncheck the box saying “allow servers to assign nickname”
The rest should remain blank so just click connect!
(I should point out that mine has not been connecting first time round in the last few days, not sure if it’s my end or not, but it always works on the second attempt!)

O2 are being gay and fixing the line, so not sure I can play tonight – will give it a go in a couple of hours and see if I have any more luck 🙁
Given we bought the ts server on the day of ts3’s release, I have no idea and I’ll have to ask Multiplay about it. I just haven’t been arsed so far.
the sound quality is so much better with ts3 , when it was introduced at the hussars everybody was amazed how different everyone sounded lol
Mr Murphy sir, could you possibly give someone at Hussars a wee slap and get them to confirm that the account I’ve registered isn’t someone trying to sell them iPods or viagra and that’s it’s ok to confirm me? 😆
I can confirm about TS3, it’s definitely far superior. It seems to have finally brought Teamspeak onto a par with Ventrilo for sound quality. Is the =XDC= TS open to newly-joined rats by any chance? I like to have as many teamspeak addresses as I can due to my sometimes unsociable gaming hours 😉
Thus far over on the Rats’ forum we have 8 people who are up for the scrum and I’d suspect at least another 3 or 4 who haven’t replied yet. There are other clans I know who have similar attitudes (casual fun-loving types) who’d be interested, but I’ll keep it quiet for the time being until we have a better idea of numbers.

You will be glad to hear I cannot get in to the EA servers! Going to play som MW2 instead – whoop! (PS I only get 20 days holiday/year, and have spent 3 of them playing games this week… rock and roll!)
