    the answer to this is your php 5 being set to the wrong language in the database.

    well it is on our forum and we jsut ran into the same issue ! (well close)

    I can barely post at all, it’s got sweet F.A. to do with the pound sign for me. 9 out of 10 times I’ve tried I get this error.

    Can’t be arsed with it anymore.

    These boards cannot afford to lose SOIA, a fix must be found !!!!!

    we had to change the language file encoding to UTF-8 on the rats site when we moved, have you checked for that?
