Soz I havent been around – havent been able to get a good connection at my new flat which is uber gay 🙁 Going on hols for next week, but will hopefully be on after that, when I get the network fixed.

I’ll confirm this tomorrow, but I suppose we can have a game sunday regardless of whether we have everyone who’s expressed an interest so far. We can always have another night if people miss out on this week, but let me check how many we’re likely to have this week before deciding anything.
Oh and if you can, try and get BF42 installed and configured as well, so we have a plan B incase some people have too many problems with RS.
And no worries Turks, I’ve been idling in TS all week (apart from last night) and it’s been pretty quiet since Sunday.

It’s quite possible we will Tooth. I had a blast playing ’42 last night even though it was Gazala (which I used to hate), and I’m well up for more of the same. I’m keen on a few BF2 games as well soon (I’ve got the patches, just need to find the cd), but those are both much more accessible games and don’t require the same organising as a game of RS, which takes priority tonight since that was the plan.
Given XDC’s history at turning up for things like this though, we could easily be moving to Plan B.
computers been fucked all this weekend and it looks like a hardware problem which suck the big salty ones! im back on an older backup right now and dont know how long its going to last. Need to reinstall RS again and all the bloody silly mp bound speech things I spent all week installing including the XDC multiplayer map (the XDC airlines with the pot,porn,poop and booze if you dont remember it _Matt) grrrrrrrr I’m on it but this is a typically shitty time for it to happen 😡
No worries mate, we didn’t have enough people with it installed last night anyway, but there’s enough interest atm to get a game at some point, so just whenever you’re ready. We’ll probably give this another go next weekend.
Is the XDC sound/map pack downloadable from anywhere?
couldnt find it anywhere so i found some random one. need to get hold of Chris and see if he still has a copy of it!

if you have bf2 installed with the latest patch applied you do not need your bf2 disk to play , which was useful for me as i have lost it lol
Trying to get BF2 installed first of all, but yea I may give Forgotten Hope a go too. I think I downloaded it once, around the time we all stopped playing BF2, and never really got around to trying it. Speaking of BF2 though, I’ve got all the patches downloaded now, so once I find the CD/CD Key I’ll be up for a few games of this. Doc I’ve included the patches (2GB worth) on the DVD I posted this morning, but I didn’t think of Forgotten Hope.
