    are you talkign aboot TF2? is it REALLY that good? i think its only $30? isnt it? so pretty cheap.
    or do i have to get some orange box thingamy thatll cost me big time?

    Yea TF2.

    It’s not without it’s problems, in particular the shortage of maps (at this stage anyway), but it’s the first game in a long time that’s made me laugh out loud. The classes in the game are extremely well balanced and if you take the time to get used to each of them (which doesn’t take long), you really don’t mind switching to fill a gap in your teams defence/offense, you’ll probably also end up with several favourite classes which is unlike BF (in my experience anyway). It’s also a proper team game which is simple enough for the likes of us to get involved in competively, should we ever fancy that.

    Custom maps are already being made by the community as they are done in the same way as CS:Source maps, plus if you dont have the map it just downloads onto the clients pc so that can play (server setting I believe) so its quite hassle free 🙂

    I may look at making maps again as I enjoy that sort of thing and its not too disimlar to making maps for Quake 3, but extra advanced things in it now
