COD 4 Review

just been on multiplayer and wooooooooot. Brilliant.had some problems when trying change the graphics settings.Kept crashing and coming upwith a directx error.Alot of people are getting the same thing. You just have to disable X fire even if you are not logged in. It resolved it for me.

Now when we all playing. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

could someone jump on the splat ‘hardcore’ server, and tell me their experiences please.

its cod4 ‘s inbuilt ‘realism’ setting (hardcore)…….splat are a gameing clan, top lads, played RO with them a lot. only ever play mp, sp does me tit in, so dont want to buy if the mp is wank.

Its a bit fast but really enjoyable. We had some good games last night. I think it will be well worth buying. Everyone seemed to like it. 😀

some real good games last night on or brand-spanking new CoD server with Dazzer, Nom and ViperGra, very enjoyable indeed.

what is beyond me btw, the game was out for prolly all of 36 hours and there were already quite a few guys on who were promoted at least 10 tomes or more, also I had the distinct impression cheating had already taken off.

Graphics are absolutely awesome and unsurpassed

It’s difficult to recommend it if you’re looking for something like RO.

With the right server settings it’ll probably be a good laugh on mp but there’s an awful lot of grenade launcher spamming and aimless spraying of machine guns.

If you do get it try the cr0x server first – crosshairs turned off (limits the nade spamming) and ff turned on make it a bit more playable.

singleplayer is really good, by the way.

A gren limit, no crosshair and that arty shit gone, along with one or two of the tiny maps, would in my opinion make the game 10 times better, i know there is a server side setting ‘hardcore’ which gets rid of hud etc and enables bullets to do more damage.

soia jump in ts and on our server tonite, and we could all discuss the options to make it a better playing experience.

all in all though, once you get the general idea, its a good, fun game 😀 😀

No can do, the XDC server just doesn’t show up for me at all. The server browser is crap beyond belief though. Besides, I’m pretty certain that the settings I’d stick on any server would be pretty unpopular it would be empty all the time.
