hihi.. i too am looking at monitors at the mo.. currently have a dell 17 inch jobbie ‘borrowed’ from work.. which is ok.. much better than the 15 i had before.. but anyhoo.. im looking at the 20 inch Samsung already mentioned by a few peeps.
Do you chaps that have it and its bigger brother the 22 think its the nuts? or just ok? its sub £200 at the mo i think. and thats at overclockers, so maybe be able to find it cheaper.

I got one of these in 20″:
Samsung SM-206BWI love it. It’s had great reviews and is pretty damn quick. Colours are good and the finish is glossy and matches the PC. Personally I wish I’d brought a 22″ now (especially at the current price), although the resolution is exactly the same (1600×1050), so you won’t get anymore desktop space, it’ll just be bigger.
If mine got smashed I’d definately buy the same model again.

How much would my FX53, 1 gig, 320gig, 9800pro pc sell for on ebay now? (just over three years old)
and it has my Xfi gamer sound card in it… would it be better to take that out to see (replace) or leave it in?
the 24 inch dell is superb. I love mine.
Dont see much poitn going any bigger than that for gaming/normal computer work TBH. Different for spunker as he is doing video editing etc.

You should have made it an each way bet, then you’d have won even if you came in second place (i.e. didn’t finish on time).
But you’d only have won £50.
Turks, appart from the GFX your machine sounds fine. Sell off the 9800 on eBay and get something more up to date. Unless you want to be playing BioShock at 1680 x 1050 at max res it’ll be fine.
Or:
Buy some tic-tacs and wrap 5 of them in a bit of tin foil and tell your other student mates that their “Charlie Poppers”, “Rockliffe’s Babies” or “Jimmy Crankies Fondant Wing Whang Eyeballs” and sell them to them for £15 a go.You could make £150 quit from a single packet of tic-tacs and flood the market with a new ‘designer drug’.
