I’m still on there most nights. Scary Snowman’s my younger brother (which makes him sound like a small child doesn’t it? He’s 23) and Hiddenpower and Maj.Trey are mates that join us every so often as well. 🙂
I reckon you should purchase the booster packs, sure it’s a pain, but it means we’ll have a bit more variety on our server. We’ve been umm’ing and ahh’ing about how to handle the booster packs, but it looks as if we’ve all got to bite the bullet and just buy ’em.
To be honest I think the XDC admins run a pretty tight ship on the server and we do get lots of regular visitors who play fair and don’t spoil the game for everyone else, and obviously we want to keep those folks coming back. But there’s only so many times we can play Karki, Sharqi and Marki before they get boring…
Yeah I’ve got EF and I’ll probably get AF at some point. As for the server, XDC’s the only place I play on since sometime last year 😀
I’m enjoying AF when I play it. I’m in shock that I enjoy playing all 3 maps they’ve released with it. Have yet to try a 16 player version of any of them which should be interesting?
Looking at all the maps on all the releases there’s only three maps I actually loathe, Kubra Dam, Tabhera Quary, and I’m not that keen on Great Wall tbh. All the other maps (including SF) have their pros and cons.
Anyone else play SF much now? Put it in the CD drve the other week and I can’t seem to stop playing it! Jet-skiing ‘cross the water, ziplining onto cranes…I tend to think SF is the best release now. Hell, I even like the night maps!

Cant we put up some server messages or something telling people they should get the boosters… its fucking annoying having bought them, and not being able to use them on our own server!

Whats the current rotation back too, I’ve only managed to get 10-20 mins of the usuall Karki before the server crashes and starts with karki again (I’m sure Max has a hand in that somewhere 😉 )

The same problem is affecting all servers – its a 1.3 bug though I didn’t think ours was as badly hit as say the 256 server which seems to crash every couple of maps. I guess if its going to crash regularly it might as well go back to Karky.
