Can we just clarify what the settings should be. I vote for Hardcore

Killcam off
minimap off
3p vehicles off
HC damage

and whatever else there is! I like the server messages though, good work. If we can ban the karl “i’m replacing the noob tube” Gustav that would be awesome.

current settings are:

hardcore on
friendly fire on
killcam off
minimap off
3d spotting on
minimap spotting on
crosshair off
3p vehicle view off

I left the 3d spotting on and minimap spotting because I think it promotes teamwork when you are not on TS together, ie for ordinary people wandering into the server, also the minimap is off so you have to stop and look at your map to get the info.

criticisma/changes/suggestions welcome or just go on and change it yourself!

I too prefer to have the mini map, it’s especially helpful to a medic for revives. Others don’t like it though, think it’s gonna come down to a vote.

I don’t like having the orange blobs appear over your head when spotted… am I right in thinking that is a minimap function?

I think having orange blobs over your head sucks… especially when snipers are about (it causes us more harm than them IMHO.)

Did you know that if you spot an APC on a map for example… your mates can still hit shift and see the location of the vehicle on the mini map – so still helpful to spot even when minimap is off. Just takes more skill.

Yeah killcam off, spotting (red triangle) i’d prefer that to be off as i like sneaking around like a very sneaky fecker
