Damn it… If only I was as big a geek as you!
COH chugs on my pc as it is… and not enjoying these 1.5gb+ patches… may have to wait this expansion out until my next PC comes.
Are all these patches incremental?
Dont they have one big patch that works from whatever version you have currently installed?

6 Seperate patches to install? Am I missing something here?

The latest patch seems to install this ” Relic Downloader ” thing, which is like a torrent and downloads the patches you need. It’s pretty slow 😥

its absolutely crap! Im still downloading from last night at 9! i think ive maxed 50kbs at one point but mainly about 3.5 its bullshit!

The bleeding idiots should have split this patch into small segments and pre released it before Tales of Valor came out. They implement a system that they’ve never used and use the clients to be the lab rats and up the bill so they dont have to pay more for server bandwidth on hosting the patch themselves. I dont mind the size if it was broken up into bits. It double pisses me off that they didnt have the foresight to do it like this and if needs be hold back on the release date of tales of valour untill everyone had the chance to patch up. Just think about the people that have also bought TOV and are sitting waiting to play the damned thing!
😡Well the AI has become uber. Thought Id have a go on some reg maps that I know well and the expert AI basically raped us. nasty grenades spamming, attacking traps and sandbags, snipers shooting the flak guns then the AI stealing them. Its just got a lot tougher. I think its going to be easier playing expert humans now 😯
Yeah, the AI has finally been improved. On Seine River Valley you can still beat an expert AI thanks to the choke point, but it uses snipers and artillery more effectively 😀
Hmm AI is too bloody hard i would say.

Would any1 be interested in a wee COH competition? Just doing 1 vs 1’s amongst the clan / maybe DR as well (if any of them play it.) Spice things up a bit?
