😀whoa! 3 pages since my last visit.
U can copy settings from demo to full game. The folders are in your documents folder. A couple of controls glitched in the crossover but very minor to re-bind them compared to doing the whole lot again.
I got paid yesterday and accidentally ordered a new gfx card (don’t tell the gf). Like n0m’s: a Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB DDR3 AGP. I went pikey on the postage so it’s prolly gonna take the most agonising week of my life to arrive.
My first ATI card. Hope it’s ok. With that, I plan to brick up the door and play ArmA till the cows come home.

One of the things that happens to me when I play…
When you have two enemy lining up shots on you at the same time, you know you have to do something decisive. I always crouch and pump a gabillion rounds into their nuts in manic panic. Gotta laugh at the bloodstains. 8)
Max, have you noticed there’s medics in some missions? You’re prolly not qualified tho?
Got 17 kills in a tank Thursday night without using the guns. That was fun.
You know there’s a really fucking cool feeling about this game. You might circle a town full of enemy, dump the truck in a gully and then just chill fora bit whilst you get the binocs out and work out some tactics. I remember going ahead of the squad and reaching the wall of the first building and just waiting – keeping an eye out along the roofline and down the road occasionally, just chillin in the sun. Helped the AT guy get his range on a tank, spotted some targets for the sniper. When they were ready, they came over to my position and we did the town over, sector by sector. I again had brought extra ammo for the AT guy, which he was glad for. All the while you can hear gunfights and even random shooting occurring streets away. It’s very immersive.
In BF, if you see a bad guy, one of you is dead within the next 20 seconds. In this game, you might be stalking or avoiding the same bloke for 20 minutes, and man when you hold your breath (bind that key!) for the perfect headshot and he just drops like someones just pulled their plug inthe Matrix, that just rocks.
They call OFP and this game a ‘soldier sim’ to differentiate it from others. Wish I knew about it earlier.
I really bought it for the multiplayer, so hopefully theperformance will improve a little with patches, it seemed a little clunky, but they may be done to lag issues.
Should be good fun once we get a load of us online.

That was beautiful! Wish I could share these things with my dad but he gets chills down his spine just with ricochet noises. This one would give him seriously bestial fear and a fucking massive kill hard-on.

Max I think it was more lag.. the server Me, Spunker, Lammie and nom were on briefly was fine.. no lag what soever.. the only issue was not knowing wtf we were doing.. 1 channel for 2 games didnt help either but I aint spoke to loads for months so I wanted to stay in that one

Off out this afternoon to get the boy outta the wifes hair for a few hours and gonna pick this up.
