    currently i have been playing renault megan , f1c 0.6 , cdtp fia 2005, etcc 2003, rfactor v8, alpha 1.45 , mostly , the citron 2cv mod is a good laugh too

spugs i saw a rfactor bedfor track the other day , you can get most mods/tracks from http://www.rfactory.de , it is now all in german ( they used to have an english forum but it is gone now) but its not to hard to work out lol (i wonder if they have been taken over because i could not see any evidence of the people who used to run it . It is still an exellent resource though.

rfactor crntal is another good place to get stuff from.

i ordered a logitech g25 although god knows when i will get it lol , clutch and h shift heaven here i come eventually lol!!!!

    Hello u guys

Good see u you are still interested in rfactor, i mean there is no other racing game that has better online racing.

http://www.rfactorcentral.com is the place to get anything and see what versions of mods.

Megane Trophy 2005 is current most popular mod, the new 2006 version comes out soon.

Also rfactor got a MAJOR update with 1.150. new cars, and 6 new tracks. also 2 new add on tracks (monza and shanghai)

The Seat Leon 2006 supercooper mod is excellent but underplayed currently.

ETCC is newest mod, is fun but models and textures are from F1C ๐Ÿ™ so not great.

G25 wheel is good choice dk!, very expensive though.

i am really getting into the rfactor nascars , i just had a great race where this guy and i were fighting for 2/3 places , we kept drafting each other , so i sat on his taail and passed him at the last corner , it was so much fun!! ๐Ÿ™‚

the FOG guys are starting an Ettc championship running on sunday mornings at 11 am i may sign up for that although i find the mod a little laggy when people join a server , should be ok for racing though

yeah etcc does suffer a little bit, the fog guys are very good and nice ppl too ๐Ÿ™‚

think they have a server too.

I have reinstalled and now remember why I uninstalled! ๐Ÿ™„ Hard as Nails

What would realy help is if I could slow down the steering. I play with a 360 gamepad and when going hard left or right, it is like a switch when I flick the thumstick (I know, I know, its analogue, but in the heat of the moment I cant help it!!)

So if there was some lag in the movement it would hopefully improve my game

hmm that is a difficult one , you can alter the sensitivity in the options but i dont know if it would work for a pad?

how anyone plays rfactor without a wheel is beyond me lol!!

i hope you can get it sorted soon ๐Ÿ˜€

mugs are you on ts? i am racing now

it was funny last week my good friend mr dahee from FOG and klaaz from NOR both asked me if i wanted to join up with their teams ………i dont know which to choose lol ๐Ÿ™„

I still have , but it is hard as fook tryin to play using a keyboard, you need a decent wheel and pedals, may treat myself to MOMO or the new G25 as it’s me birthday ๐Ÿ˜‰

Where did you get it from mate? they are still looking a bit pricey at

142 is the cheapest i have seen it so far ๐Ÿ™‚

I am sticking with my DFP for now as it has been the best wheel i have got so far.

ppl do play with keyboard and game pad, but you need to adjust the controllwer settings to cope with it.

if you are finding it hard to drive in a straight line, try norrowing the steering range on the controller and also if u set the steering lock on your cars setup to be less it is easier.

e.g the f1 cars. i found it hard to drive straight when doing nearly 200mph ๐Ÿ™‚

so i reduced the steering lock on the car setup and it makes it much more easier to control.
