    Dunno if this works but worth a try

    Change : seta r_rendererPreference “Default”
    To: seta r_rendererPreference “Shader model 2.0”

    The setting you find in your config_mp.cfg file and it increased my FPS from a average 25-30 to steady 60. (Its capped at 60) Best part the game doesn’t look any worse

    I assume your card has to support SM 2.0

    am I right in thinking that this is in effect reverting from default shader model 3 to shader model 2?

    I’d say so.. but unless you have one of these cards (or Ati Equivilant) dont suppose it matters.. but It might help if you have serious lag.. not that any of us do .. but ffr it could help

    ant reason you missed out the 7800 gs? that’s what I have and it has shader model 3, although tbf, don’t get any resource lag and the game still looks pretty!
