    P4 3.0ghz
    4 gig ddr2700 ram
    gigabyte 8igm1000k mobo(something like that)
    intel 100 lan
    dlink 504t adsl router connecting to AOL
    40 gig system partition
    250 gig sata drive(where BF2 is located)
    adaptec 29160 SCSI card

    OP system drive completely clean apart from Required drivers and BF2
    Pagefile =6g
    No wireless and no other fancy shit plugged in

    Ran all the drive/memory/anti-virus checks/spyware etc etc

    Ran Tune xp 1.5/regcleaner etc etc

    Seems to be a funnel somewhere but strange why it’s happening all of a sudden when nothing has been changed.

    Thx everyone, actually it ended up being one one the 1gig memory sticks ran a few tests on it which always passed but when I took this stick out of the machine the machine no longer skips, anyway thx for all the help.

    still isn’t going to stop me bitching about why it takes me 10 shots to kill someone though. lol

    Hey nice heads up for the memtest prog thx alot will give it a try.

    Plus one good fact the missus is pulling a night shift tonight and I’m not going up the pub so a bit of a BF2 fest tonight.

    feck me how sad is that… humm I might be going to the pub after all…

    might see you guys later might not depends on the lads…
