Ah my dear friend that is where you are wrong, they are extremly useful on several map in obaining alternative routes to flags and getting over walls.

Warlord is a great example when getting in to cap the flags at the Palace, this roof has no ladder access and using the GH allowes you to bypass the main stair case. Many other one storey buildings have no ladders either and make good vantage points for anti tank. Combine a squad leader with a GH and a spec ops/sniper with zip and traverse entire maps without setting foot on the ground 😀

I’d have been on XDC too, but I had a curry (which gave me wind something awful) and watched ‘The Mancurian Candidate’.

Thing is, if we say we’re putting EF on the server on Tues and Thurs then we need to stick to that for a few weeks, especially if we’re putting the maps into rotation ad infinitum. I showed my face around 7pm for 45 minutes to get the server started, but then had to go.

LOL 😆 Yes, it does attract ‘tards. But the first few times we put EF on the server there were a lot of XDC around and we had some very good games. Sure, people still change sides, but the more regular players who turn up the better. The fewer XDC on a server (and friends of XDC) the poorer the game in my experience.

So we have a few peeps who change maps and arrange the rotation without a vote now ? Hmmm? Just an observation here but i think if Insane were to jump off a cliff ,Max would follow lol. 😛

SF is much better than EF, it’s much more ground combat orientated and (I Think) will be more to the liking of most.

Also from my experience it attracts less tards(prob cos you had to go and buy rather than just d/l it), just don’t put the night maps on they’re normally crowd killers.

Aye IG has to be the least optimised POS map ever made for BF2 laggy cack.

That’s one of the draw backs to SF in that the seal maps are either IG or night ones. That’s ok tho more time for SAS maps 🙂
