Asking you gonzo since you seen to know about about server administration and hoping you can help. Mugsworth has given me the same admin options on our TF2 server as he and everyone else has, but for some unknown reason I can’t actually use all the admin commands. As an example, I can use things like change level (although some levels, like granary, just don’t respond for me) and I can slap players, but I can’t kick or ban anyone, and I can’t respawn anyone. Have you encountered this problem before and have any idea what we might have overlooked (I’m sure mugs can fill you in with what exactly he’s been doing)?

best bets to grab your steam id in game as sometimes it needs to start steam_0:0 or steam_0:1 and only the game HLSW app seems to know what one to use.
other thing is making sure beetlesmod is on the latest version, its up to beta .45 now so thats worth a stab
also worth noting that if your admin has ! listed with the letters and numbers you cant use admin until the full admins are gone and its only sub admins left, but it doesnt sound like thats the case?

Actually that doesn’t sound too far off the mark. Thanks for the suggestions, we’ll try them out.
Turns out this was something completely different altogether. As a hangover from years ago I still rebind all my keys to the arrow keys rather than wasd etc, and this includes weapons 1, 2 and 3 in tf2. It’s either with the game, or possbily just the beetles admin mod, but when the admin menu appears to ask you to press number one, what it’s actually asking for is the key you’ve assigned to weapon 1. I just have to remember the order my keys have been reassigned and can use all the admin options fine.
