Does anyone have a spare key lying around for Windows XP Pro by any chance? I’ve got my own key for windows xp home edition, but I don’t have a CD, and my cd/dvd writer seems to be fucked, preventing me downloading either home edition or windows xp essential (which doesn’t require a key). I was provided with a key with the copy of XP pro I was given, but it’s not being accepted by the windows police, so I’m on a 30 day countdown before I have to reinstall it again 🙁
Alternatively, if anyone in work could burn me a bootable cd from Windows XP home edition, or preferrably Windows XP essential, that would solve the problem 🙂
