Magjicka has Alzir spoken to you about this stats program yet?
It is a daemon that needs to run on the webserver with its own website and its own MySQL database, looks to be PERL based and it then talks to the TF2 gameserver where ever that happens to be. The front end part of the site is written in PHP.
Has the following requirements:
Perl V5 or above
Also required the DBI Perl modul.
PHP V4 or above
This script language is needed for the webserver to show statistics on the internet.
If you want to get detailed statistic graphs you must have the gd graphics library.
MySQL database V3.23 or above
Including user rights to create temporary tables.
Rcon access to source server(s)
To retrieve all player information and react to player commands.
Webspace for the webpage
To allow access to your statistics over the internet a webspace is required.
Shell access to run perl deamon
You must have the possibility to execute programs in a shell.Tried to do this before with MPUK, but they didnt like the idea of running a daemon on their webserver 🙁 although they run this stats software for their public TF2 servers!
Could you check if this is doable or not. thanks

What is it you need exactly? Mug’s and me were playing with this a couple of months back and I think mugs managed to get all the files sorted out so they would work, but we just didn’t have support for it.
May 5, 2008 at 2:14 pm #67302GoNz0Participantwell tbh this is over my head, i will need someone to help with this as websites and databases are not my cuppa tea 🙁

May 5, 2008 at 4:25 pm #67305MugworthParticipantHmm well it looks like it, but I have never messed around with PERL scripts lol.
I just happened to see that rackage does it already, so it shouldnt be too much trouble to sort out.
So may be ask that rackage guy who mentioned about the hlstatsx thing.
