KeymasterThere must be an update or something, but L4D 1 and 2 are currently available on Steam together for a fiver. £5.09 to be exact…for both games…not each.

KeymasterDo you not rate L4D Signal? It’s an awesome wee game, and we still play it quite regularly. For a fiver this is a bargain.

Participantdoes anyone know how to tell steam to install to a different drive?
October 6, 2010 at 10:16 pm #77510xdc the doc
ParticipantArghhh – I had this problem magicker.
I think it is impossible? In the end I had to reinstall steam in the drive I wanted after clearing out the first.
Annoying -0 but you can transfer a lot of the files in a backup form – so saving some download time.

Participanthere we go
If you’re low on space on the drive you have Steam installed, you can move the Steam folder to a different location. Here’s an example of how to move the Steam installation between two hard drives:
Log out and exit Steam
Navigate to the folder where Steam is installed (by default: C:Program FilesSteam)
Delete all of the files and folders except the SteamApps folder and Steam.exe
Cut and paste your Steam folder to the new location, for example: D:GamesSteam
Launch Steam
Steam will briefly update and then you will be ready to play
All future game content will be downloaded to the new folder D:GamesSteamSteamappsOctober 7, 2010 at 6:37 pm #77512xdc the doc
ParticipantYeah – basically that is what I meant… I couldn’t find a way to just reasign the drive so had to delete my folder and reinstall – but by moving the backup folder over it saves a lot of time.

ParticipantOne thing that I’ve noticed since being “hooked” on EVE is that I’m now a miserable fecker and I am very dismissive of other games!! will try to be a little more upbeat in future..:-)

TS3 mate, details here viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5448
It’s not being used very much atm, except when we message each other via steam for a game, so you may need to grab us there first if you’re looking. Having said that, I’ll still be on TS when I can, I’ve just been busy recently.

KeymasterLooks like the deal ended last night, but you can still get both games together for 14.99, which is still worth it, just not as spectacularly good.
CH, if you’re ever looking for a game give me a shout.

ParticipantHow about a few of us try and get on tonight for a game? I am on call so could be a bit flaky – but if possible will get on PC about 9ish to see if any1 is up for it.
