Anyone else playing PC version of this?
Nearly gave up on it. Too many boring conversations and unskippable sequences than I can usually cope with but once you’re passed the Citadel the game really opens up so glad I stuck with it certainly taking my attenetion away from TF2 while it’s Pyro madness on the servers.

This is another game on my list of things to buy once I’ve got my CCNA. Love space opera and RPG’s so this is a logical purchase.
I completed it on the 360. Characters in it were the same old sci-fi 1 dimensional good/evil stereotype bollocks. The storyline was totally unoriginal and not unlike all these fucking awful third rate american sci fi series that constanly clutter up cable tv. The aliens were the usual collection of motiveless cyborgs and tree huggers.
And despite all this bile it still managed to be a bloody good game. Who’d have thought it?
(*edit* but as story driven games go “The Witcher” shat on it and going back donkeys years “Vampire Bloodlines” was also far more atmospheric.)
Well, now you come to mention ‘The Witcher’:
And I’ll still get Mass Effect so I can lay smack down on tree hugging types, particularly since ‘PETA vs Greenpeace: Wipeout’ doesn’t look like it’s going to be turned into a game.
Yea Witchers ace, I just wish the fighting was a bit more than just a timed click. Severance was the only game I’ve played that really had sword fighting down. It had it’s faults, but still rates as one of my best games ever, atmospheric as you like. Still play it now, some nice mods out there too. What I need is Severance 2 but I don’t think there’s anything close (please correct me if I’m wrong) and I think Rebel Act died penniless vagrants so no chance of them making a sequel…… 🙁
New Witcher, wonder if old saves will work? Don’t fancy starting again really.
