Hi Guys, I am arranging a Mod Night on our server this Wednesday at 7.30pm
The Mod will be the AWE4 mod and the rotation will comprise of the following maps:mp_burg
mp_pripyat
mp_settlement
mp_spbase
mp_pow_rld
mp_rd_exThese are in my opinion some of the best of the newer maps available. I have selected them on the grounds they offer lots of tactical opportunities in a variety of different Settings.
Some of the maps would be owned by snipers so I have disabled all sniper weapons in an effort to stop it turning into a turkey shoot 😀
I will be posting on the forums of other friendly clans about this, so hopefully, these quite large maps will fill up enough to make it alot of fun with lots of sneakiness.
The mod will be activated around 7.30pm GMT so if anyone is interested in joining us on the 6 medium to large maps we will be running you’re more than welcome.

I think it could be a bit of a laugh as most of us wont know our way around the maps that well and it will keep it interesting

Played on the new maps Monday with the TAGS guys. All you COD4 fans should give it a go. Nice maps 😀
giving the Insurgency mod another go……havent pld cod4 for 2 weeks, cause every time i picked it up i realized how bad (imho) it is…i may pop on and give the custom maps ago as the 1st Tag guys are good fun 😉
Just a quick reminder about tonight guys. The mod is now active and we’ll be on about 7.00 ish. Hope to see some of you there

I should have me PC tomorrow so might be back on some games int near future.. if i can take meself away from BFBC that is 🙂
yeah, you would say that Insane, actually went to Chorlton where I introduced her to the delights of pies. She had never had a proper pie so I took her to a bar called Pi which sells Pie Minster Pies which are awesome, and Belgian beer. Cracking place, great pies, great beer, she loved the pie as well!

Yeh, that game looks like the game I’ve been waiting for since Desert combats demise. I can’t believe the underhanded gits haven’t released it for PC.
Mind you I can understand it, I suppose EA think it’s less hassle developing a game for a console with no variables than making one for PC which has hundreds of variables.
All the same, it’s a bit of a worry for us PC gamers. 😯
This one incident with bad company means if it isn’t released on PC by Xmas then I will be purchasing a PS3 purely to play it. Could this be the beginning of the end for PC gaming?
On a lighter note, we are going to arrange another mod night in a few weeks with some more new maps, so hopefully if you’re not all shagging you can pop in and give us something else to shoot at 😛
I’ve heard of Pi .. Is there one in Didsbury too or somewhere around there? dunno if I was asleep at the same time though and dreampt its whereabouts

Tom.. aye, thats what I thought when someone asked why console and not PC.. it really is a good game, although get a 360 if you do 🙂
