have just downloaded this – how the fuck do you play a game that does not know what a mouse is???
just as well i downloaded it rather than paid for it other wise i would be mad as fuck – as it is.. i am only slightly bemused.
i have tried playing shooter games on consoles and i am buggered if i can see he fun of controlling a cross hair with a console controller! why? you have mice for that sort of thing!
I’ll let you into a secret.. RES Evil 4 was exclusively made for Gamecube, all res evil products start life on consoles and work well! .. using a console controller and I say it worked spiffingly
Why they decided to port it to a PC is beyond me.. that kinda game would struggle with a mouse and keyboard like the others did
Some games work surprisingly well with controllers.. GOW is an example.. but I cant wait for a keyboad and mouse addon for 360 for FPS games such as Perfect Dark etc which I struggle to play using a controller :/
I got this on the cheap for my PS2, reviewed it ages ago on here – it was a very good game. Amazed the planks who converted it didn’t stick in PC controls setup. The entire game the camera follows your bloke around over the shoulder. Mouse aiming would have actually worked better than a controller on this one. Having said that, given that no-one buys PC games anymore and everyone just rips em off and downloads em we can hardly complain that companies won’t invest any time or money in finishing them or making them work properly.
having been stung by shite like RE4 for PC in the past (star wars battlefront / unreal 2, unreal tournament 2003 etc) i always download before I try. with shit like this you have to really.
if its any good i will buy it but 25-35 quid is too much a risk for a turkey

I’ve been using something for years even on the Xbox with no probs… it’s called SmartJoy Frag… I got it here…

I spend money on turkeys all the time 😛 Well.. not al lthe time, but if I want to try before I buy I try the demo… if I like the demo I buy… but I don’t dl the game then not buy it because it was crap, I’ve bought plenty of turkeys and I will end up buying more too =/
res 4 ruined the res evil series imo, what the fucking monks and the dodgy setting 👿
the story just diddnt fit with what was set up in the previous games. 😥
