Shadowplay’s actually really good so just use that of you have it. I wasn’t on yesterday but will be tonight now i’ve got a ton of work out of the way. I try and throw in a session on miller, so i’ll look out in case you’re on. You’re right that we could do some serious damage in this game if we a bunch of us teamed up and it would be brilliant if we did however too many people around here are still hooked on bf4. We could make a go of the oufit on miller though if you were up for that?
Yes we need to make something. We should try to get as many to dload the game as possible. Also have you tried creating a chatroom in game? You can make a separate channel I think by just typing join and then the name. There’s plenty more content coming out , have you tried the crossbow yet ?
I’ve only had one session since the infiltrator update but i’m not sure about the crossbow yet as i’ve not tried it in VR. I can’t see it being that useful but you never know, it might be OP….i was killed by it the other night 🙂
I didn’t know that about chat rooms but might try it to create a public platform for us…that being said I don’t think that kind of thing would be used much by players. If a few of us were on this server i’d have made an effort of the outfit a long time ago but really all I’d need is some help in maintaining a presence. We could run some open squads and see where that takes us and also make a recruitment post if we can decide on a strategy. The problem I have with that is that i’d have to start playing NC exclusively but I could put a good amount of time into it if there was someone willing to help out, especially at the start.
Well hopefully I’ll be making the shift onto working days now and will be around in the evenings more. I think you need to play a regular server and a regular faction to be able to recruit more easily. It would be great if 10 xdc were playing this game, would really help to get a platoon going.
Might be an idea to stick to one part of a continent to getan idea of how to cap bases. I still don’t know how to capture some bases and I’ve been playing since launch .
can’t blame you at the mo though hearing what my mate done today in town I think waiting there for 4 hours and going to the gym while I waited then getting one to Watford this morning makes me think i’m doing the right thing 😉
I don’t think that when I’ve done 4 hours and end up in Richmond or Chiswick however!!!! 😀
It’s not all bad. I get there and wait in the north park for however long it takes; sometimes an hour sometimes less and then once in the north park I have time to either go for a long walk ((between 3 and 5 miles depending on how long I’ve got) or over to the gym for an hour or so. Once back in the cab I don’t have too long to wait before I’m off.
If I come back which more often than not I do, I have my packed lunch (normally a lovely tuna fish salad prepared at home) and then head off on another walk.It’s all pretty stress free though not always financially viable as two bad jobs back to back as can happen sees you making well below minimum wage once fuel and airport charges are deducted.

I have enough time to play all factions atm quite regularly but I do tend towards one or the other over the course of a day. The outfit on Woodman is good atm but I’d be much more interested in making an XDC outfit somewhere and so would devote time to that if someone was helping out. The only problem with NC is that it’s my least played character, and the least played of others too, in particular Alex who would be helpful in doing something like this. That being said I’m up for it, so we can give it a go.
We’d need to run some public platoons to try and find some like minded players, although I’m scratching my head a bit over how to go about recruitment for something like this, as I’d like to keep to XDC tradition in this, but we’d also need an initial injection of players to start things off. I’m open to suggestions.
Oh and as far as capping bases goes, I’ve so many hours sunk into this game I know them all, so there’s no problem in that regard and if you follow me about for a while you’ll soon pick it up.
Oh and Line, what time are you normally online at if you’re working nights atm? And are you normally on Steam?
Not to put too much pressure on you line, but I need a realistic idea right now of how likely you are to be able to help with this during normal hours? I need to know because it involves station cash investments, but since mentioning the idea of an outfit I’ve not seen you online.
yeah sorry been busy this week with my niece visiting. at the moment theres no fixed time im on , it can vary from 11 in the morning to 12 at night . hopefully ill be on regular evenings now.
I think its best if we just start regular xdc squads everytime we play and see if we can get some regular joiners . the problem with the game is its so vast people don’t always want to be tied down to a squads style of play . im playing a lot of skyguard atm so its pointless joining an infantry squad , much better off starting a squad of skyguards. im on this weekend anyway .
