I am plainnning on buying the Saffire X1950Pro at the end of the month. I see that one is £30 more than the saffire one, but its factory clocked. Mind the saffire one will clock up too. similar looking cards anyway.
Looking at the various guides i have a Radeon 9800Pro and the GF6800GT was just over twice as fast and then this card is nearly 3 times faster than that. so I am going to get a massive boost even without overclocking.

I have just managed to sell the GF6800GT PCI-E I had that I couldnt use and I am selling my Radeon 9800Pro that I am using to get one of the new ATi Cards just come out.
Its a X1950Pro 512MB AGP 🙂 and works in my P4 system. Looks like its the fastest AGP card ever made so far and best thing is unlike the Nvidia one the AGP version is not cut down from the PCI-E version, its the same spec which is excellent.
Read some reviews and comparisions and the PCI-E version gets a couple more FPS (e.g PCI-E 63fps and AGP 60.8fps) so not bad in all.
Plus this card is only £150 inc vat or $210 if I can find someone in usa to sell to UK 🙂
So reckon i am going to buy that end of this month, but loads of people are buying them lol, so may prove difficult to get one.
I would say its mainly RPG if you just do PvE (Player Vs Environment) but PvP (Player Vs Player) is very much like playing a cross between a FPS and a RTS game lol.

Aint it funny how its always Max’s account that seems to suffer from hackers over everyone esle lol.
If you go for one of those P4’s (I find the model numbers baffling lol) then make sure the motherboard has either the new chipset for Core 2 Duo or one of the older chipsets with the core 2 duo support added in.
Most of those are £100+ for the motherboard just now.
Vista is very good and seems to be much more friendly to games. I only have a poor Radeon 9800 and I have got a 20fps boost after upgrading to Windows Vista 🙂

I agree with Hippo and Alzir. moving to 0.0 and getting in on the PvP side of the game has made it so much more fun. its alot amore like playing a game of BF or another multiplayer game.
Empire, mining and ratting is very much a singleplayer game I believe.
Also got my workmate into our corp now and so shiould be fun 🙂
Unfortunately my internet seems buggered just now 🙁 something went wrong on thursday and now can barely get 15kb/sec instead of 230kb/sec 🙁
Hopefully it will be solved soon. cant play any online games.
heh and it has proper internet play on it?
graphics were pretty good and everyone would love to play destrustion derby mode. quite good that.
