not that i have ever streamed anything before so god alone knows what it would be like 🙂

i know Max used to stream from his Playstation for a while but having an XDC stream would be good. dont know how it would work etc

As you well know Hippo I stream all the time so if you need any help setting it up let me know. You will need two monitors (not essential but makes life a lot easier) Download a copy of OBS, create an account on Twitch to start with, the teccy stuff just get in touch, it’s fairly simple stuff once you get your head round it.

depends on your internet connection and what res you trying to watch in , I find my Samsung tv can’t handle 1080p streams or may be my virgin wireless 780p seems fine.

Well there’s a couple, if you have android download “showbox” which pulls in the streams into a media/Netflix type frontend, has adverts in it but not many and never during the programme or film or you can download Kodi and then install Exodus plugin for it which has no adverts but is more of a fiddle to get working (although I can talk you through that/ plenty of install guidelines on youtube for this) Kodi gets everything first then SHowbox gets them the day after, Kodi also can be configured to get all the pay per view sports channels as well (sky sports, espn etc)

Don’t bother with a media pc, just get something that has android or a pc and download Kodi then Exodus, I literally use a cheap Samsung tablet that I screen mirror with my Samsung TV or same tablet with HDMI lead into TV. Stream the stuff straight to TV and removes need to have a PC built for the task. You don’t need to bother with torrents and you get a front end like a media centre without the need to download the stuff first.

Even my old man can use it with his tablet and he’s fecking useless with tech.

Yes you can sync “your” mailbox and calendar to your phone, if you want other people stuff to sync to your phone you will need to add their accounts separately to your phone. In the office on your pc though you can view whatever you want of staff as long as you have the appropriate permissions given to you on the Exchange server.

Out of Office etc can all be done using Exchange. Having Exchange also gives you OWA (outlook Web access) and OAW (Outlook anywhere) so you can either logon to OWA page from anywhere with the internet or setup OAW so that as long as you have Outlook on your machine as long as you have an internet connection you will receive mail wherever you are.
Be aware though to utilise all of this you will need a copy of Microsoft Outlook running on your pc.
Phones will all be able to connect without the need for any extra software.

To use SMTP via exchange you will need you web/domain host to create/point your MX record to your external IP address of the network your Exchange Server is sat in, If it’s in the office you are sat in then just go to http://www.whatsmyip.com and it shall give you your static IP address for your connection, also you will need a “static” external IP address not a dynamic (your ISP can help you help with this)

What do you need? I admin Exchange for my job, yes Exchange will do shared calendars, meetings tasks etc, also the new versions have transport rules that you can use to make the mail do different stuff.

SMTP is the norm for mail now.
