I’m still here, apart from the fact everytime I try and play my little bundle of joy pipes up, getting right on my wick. As Wips said I’m mostly on the Monkey server as all
the usuals are ghost-towns top server loads of clan types and the only problem is “1min 20 secs at the spawn” WTF is that aboutQuite happy about it actually, Can’t stand what the game has become, no pride no passion, plus it saves all the tossers draping flags out of their council housing windows making everywhere look like the Falls road. that kit saving feature is fooking wank, half the time I spawn with completely different kit from the last time I played, there I am expecting my usual load out of A voss some rockets and a defib and I get a frying pan and a health and saftey manual and some bricks, absolute toss
Gotta say which the increased reload speed the Shotgun is now a half decent weapon although I actually think it’s a bit too good especially with the radar unlock makes things very easy. I was playing last night and I had a radar on the Roadblock Flag in Cerebre and about 5 guys were trying to take it I just waded in and killed them all which usually means death as i usually wade in and miss with first shot and when I’m waiting for the shotgun to reload I get shot about 40 times. Might be playing with the support alot more now
Gotta say first time in a while that I enjoyed playing last night, we seemed to have a 95% spread of clan players from various places and not the usual egits that turn up, hopefully it will happen again.
aye I know I have a similar spec’d pc and I have had to lower it 1024*768 on DX9 to get it running smooth. Shame really
Recommended specs from players for running it in dx10, have a GTX model 8800 or at least the 640mg version and also at least 4 gig of ram, this takes up 1.5 gig of memory when playing in DX9 so I’d hate to imagine how much it takes in DX10, I have a sneaky inkling that anybody who wants to use DX10 for games is going to have a Cray spare lying around somewhere, half decent game it’s basically Diablo 3rd person and updated gfx.
Just in case anybody sticks with it longer than Judge running it on DX9 it’s fine top settings runs like a dream, but when I run it in DX10 although I have a top spec pc it CTD’s after about 5 mins, just a hint in case anybody else is having the same problem. Used to like Diablo alot and it’s very similar.
Well after finally downloading this I had a go for about an hour, gotta say just seemed to be completely random madness, just lots of people getting continually killed and not really caring about it, just run around as much as possible whilst firing and other people running around like the devil himself was after them, I might be getting this completely wrong but it just seemed like a quake variant.
Of course I will be giving this more time just to see if I’m wrong, I was sorta expecting a CS type game but it’s obviously not.
