Do we have anyone playing this at the moment? I just bought it today, and quite enjoyed my first game, but there’s not much team play going on in the servers I’ve tried so far. Would love to hear of some good servers out there, and join up with any of us playing it.
I’ve got it, so has beer, nom, gra, itchy, judge and a couple others i think
Maybe we can turn our RO server into TF2 server? see how it goes

so how we swap to TF2 on our server for a bit then?
I dont think we do have to pay to change the server to it.. i thought we just rented it so we can put what we like on..
no mod.. its a full game.. well worth the pennies for the whole orange bix n all if i do say so myself
look folks is it really worth me spending the dosh on this orange box? (dont remind me I’ve seen the other thread) Just that I have a list of games I’m needing to possibly buy and I want to make sure I dont spend my money on something Im going to play twice (and only the second time to give it the benefit of the doubt )
If you liked HL2 jonny you’ll like the orange box. It comes with episode 1, 2 and tf2, plus something called portal (whatever that is) but even you don’t like tf2 you’ll get your money’s worth. It’s up to you really, I was always a fan of team fortress so I’m going to be biased when it comes to judging the new one. From my first impressions it certainly doesn’t live up to the hype, and I really don’t know why we had to wait 7 or 8 years for it. Having said that, it’s fun, well balanced, and I as said in another thread, it’s very much team orientated and so a great game for matches. I’m going to be playing it for a while.
i don’t wanna give advice out and people go out and drop 25 quid on a game they don’t like, but in my opinion TF2 is worth it, it looks spanky and it fun, fun,fun to play.
IMO ep2 was a bit of a let down, HL2 has a great storyline and the game looks and plays great, but it’s just too damned short, and it’s just the same old weapons and baddies, nothing aoriginal in it at all. i reakon i completed it in 5 or so playing hours, which isn’t a lot.
Portal is THE most original game i’ve played in a long, long time. it literally adds a whole new dimension to playing. i didn’t hear anything about it when they added the game to the orange box package and didn’t start playing it until last weekend, but i was hooked until i completed the game.
On a side note, as part of the episode 2 deal, if you owned the original HL2, you can gift the game to anyone for free (as i understand it), so if anyone fancies a free copy, sign up for steam and gimme your steamID and it’s your’s.

I hadn’t even considered trying it until I read that, and so glad I did, it’s a class wee game 🙂
