yeah i read that.. and its tempting.. but a new mobo + all the rest of it would soon add up.. 4gb of 800mhz can be had for about £60.. i know i know.. im wasting my cash on ddr2 ram.. 🙂
If I’m not going to see a gain.. i might as well stick with 3gb and be happy (spend the cash on strippers)

I’ve got a 2gb stick of “8500 C5C XMS2 DDR”
Maybe 4gb, depends if I get a new pair @ 800mhz as the 4gb @8500 wasnt compatible with my mobo..so im running 1 of the above with 1 CS Value select!! 🙂
Will it be worth going up 1gb (500mb) as im running win 7 32 bit??

fyi. overclocking did fuck all to the frame rate then game me some lovely purple squares and reboot.. so that was well worth the effort.
As was playing on the searched for n00b server.. fuck’n noobs.. theyre good!
Anyway, after all that I had a round on the xdc server and did pretty well.. got about 10/11 which i was pretty happy with.
I think it makes a difference if youre in a decent squad. was with insane and wolf i think (but i might have just plucked you names from my hat).. anyway.. was good.
I’m also going to overclock my 8800gt to see how much more i can get out of it.
Therse limited o/c options on the motherboard, so i dont think i can get much more out of the processor.I have to!… “Spawn. Die. Repeat.” is you guys on a hardcore server, its me on a normal server 🙂
Its that or go looking for one of those stat padding sites ive read about!

When i jumped on last night there was only 1 other person on there. So I.. well.. I may have played away, on another server.. sorry. I shouldnt have done it. but i did. AND IT FELT GOOD!
Mainly because I managed to get a decent k/d for the round, but that could have been due to a number of factors..
1) I occasionally do well.
2) They were shitter than me.
3) I dropped the grahpics settings to low, thus improving my framerate.#2 i think says something about the quality of the gamers that are attracted to the xdc server.
