7. Bored and frustrated because every other map is Titan and I really can’t be arsed to play it any more.Titan mode is like a crap lie: not only does it fail to satisfy but it also insults me. And I only get about 5fps on it.
I tried to play Nam but forgot that a system restore had undone my patching. And then my patch file was corrupt ๐ and then the EA d/l was gonna take 4+ hours :evil:.
So I went to bed early and cried a little.

Maybe it is worth suing his ass after all. His phonecall sounds like harrassment and karmically sucks (maaan).
Make sure you get your doctor’s support. Even if you haven’t “got time” to see him, discuss your injury with him on the phone so it all gets recorded on your medical file. Don’t fanny about!

1. Colin MCrae Rally 3 = crashed on both PC’s I tried it on
2. Nascar SimRacing = too boring
3. rFactor = not quite right for me
4. GTR 2 = I’m not sure; the demo settings are too restrictedI saw GT Legends is going cheap in Game shop. Tempted to give that a go with all 90 of it’s olde worlde cars like Cortina Mk 1 and Mini Cooper. Anyone got that?

If there’s an injury, the Police should be called. If they’re not called, they should be notified asap afterwards. Unless it’s changed in the last few years…
A car pulled out into me while I was cycling perfectly correctly in broad daylight and I went over the handlebars, over the car and into the oncoming traffic lane spraining my thumb and hurting a knee. That guy got away with a dent in his car and รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ40 cash out of his wallet so I could buy a new wheel. In relating these events to an ex-Policeman friend, he told me we were required by law to involve the Police because of the injury.
Actually, this same ex-Police chap trained for Police driver and is a trainer/tester with the Institute of Advanced Motorists in car and motorbike classes. You’d be surprised how many things that annoy so-called careful, sensible drivers are actually required for advanced driver qualification. The standard driving test is a minimum level of knowledge and ability which barely scratches the surface of the subject. It would be wonderful if it were made compulsory for all motorists to train to advanced level: we’d all get along a lot better and roads would be happy places lol.

Presumably, you had the Police attend the accident because of the injury? That’s the law. Get down the doctors and forget about work until it’s been looked at because you only get one neck and you want to use it every day, I expect.
Suing people is a lot like being a spoiled brat in many cases. If you have any self-esteem or conscience, best to really think about it before doing it. If the other guy’s unlucky, your insurance company is going to sue him anyway. Are the Police charging him? If they are, you might be up for some compensation anyway.

I’m someone who overtakes all the time, though not typically in 30mph zones. Nothing more tedious to me than being sat behind a vehicle that’s blocking my view forwards. I find that if the vehicle ahead has windows that I can see straight through and out the front, I don’t get that claustrophobic desire to get past. Also, overtaking is the only thing that makes travelling by car interesting.
The only way I judge people is by their consideration for others. If someone wants to overtake me or drive slowly or stop by the roadside to pick flowers, I’m cool. I’m not cool when people cause tailbacks by refusing to overtake the caravan etc and yet won’t fall back to allow others the chance of doing so. The irritation only lasts until my chance to overtake finally comes. At that moment, the awesomeness of my maneuvre more than compensates me and I’m even willing to wave happily at the grumpy bastard(s) who want me to suffer with them.
Honestly, a couple of Rover drivers can make a 25-30 minutes journey take 50 minutes. Are they fucking evil?
Well, after posting I downloaded rFactor and played it for a couple of hours.
On the whole, a very impressive game – thing’s have moved on a lot since I last checked the scene. However, there’s nothing to satisfy my morbid desire for pixel carnage and, because only carnage could make me interested in racing, I can’t buy this game.
Playing rFactor contrasted with my memories of the original Nascar game which had crash damage. I can’t remember, however, whether the rest of the physics was up to scratch.

Troy is the worst film experience I had. Five minutes was too much for me. There are so many bad films out there but you can often find an excuse to watch it. Troy was just impossible.
The same thing happened with a graphical film recently. No idea what that was called but it was something about animals in an American zoo. A deranged donkey? Can’t remember, can’t care less.
I tried to enjoy Lord of the Rings until the moment when Aragon kissed his bird in Rivendell, at which point something died inside me. Something that Jar Jar Binks had already tried to kill in the first Star Wars prequel. Darth Maul with his glam rock make-up and impossible-to-use-without-cutting-your-own-arms-off double-ended light sabre. So ghey, so ghey ๐ฟ
That’s so cool. I’ve met a couple of people like that. And there’s a film called “Kung Fu vs Yoga” with a guy like that as the yoga fighter. In the end they beat him by dumping a bucket of glue over him.
