I’ve lost the will to play BF2 now the XDC server has gone and also that I have RO. Maybe I’ll ask for BF2142 for Christmas, unless I need more socks. 😛
Once it’s patched up and once you’ve all realized how ghey Titan mode is.

The other one involved a game of cat a mouse between me and a Walker – In the middle of no where (cant remember the map, but has lots of tall buildings and open spaces)… It was just us two, and I was obviously pissing him off a bit. I put down my beacon which tells me where all the enemy vehicles are in an area (actually far more useful than I originally thought), and run round the building pot shotting his ass… about 3/5 hit, and then Im spent… he carries on looking for me, and I carry on hiding. After about 30 seconds or so (a long time in game!) some enemy dude trundles past without noticing me – I kill him and take his kit – and hes an engineer (w00t) – with emp mines and those homing ball things!! So I spread my new munitions around a bit, and blast some rockets in to that back of Mr Walker, dashing off behind my wall of death… and watch with glee as my little ballies latch on and blow the fuck out of it. 🙂

Not that I’m interested but are there sensible (ie conquest) game modes that don’t involve Titans?
