to see if you are on the xdc list just click on usergroups at the top of the page and select view info for the xdc group to see who is or is not on the list
i think i have a way to get the old forums back up so that we can read them but not add to them in any way (in a password protected folder with all forums locked and the database set to read only) – if you really really like we can then transfer the old totals across to the new site 🙂
each user can select their own style so i can install more than one and you can pick your own.
however, we do need to decide on the defualt theme for visitors to view – we can then create a front page based on this theme with the usual XDC info and gfx on it

i am staying away from any script that it not pracically bomb proof as it has always been through scripts like this (vwar – gallery – etc) that have led to the site being hacked in the past. However, there is currently a phpbb shout box in beta which is looking promising – as soon as it is available i will add it to the site.
