Attention Soldiers!
Although the 1.3 patch is still being worked on we wanted to provide a peek at what you can expect with the coming release:
NEW FEATURES
Co-op: Co-op Mode allows you to play Single Player levels on the Internet and LAN with both AI controlled bots and human players. Several new options have been created that will allow the server creator to modify how the bots behave in game.Air dropped vehicles: Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.
Air dropped cars, woot! Reminds me of BFV.
BUG FIXES & GAME PLAY TWEAKS
Prevented ban list from being cleared in the event of a server crash.Fixed issue with players not properly ranking up on servers where they continuously play.
Fixed bug where friendly vehicles show up as valid targets.
Friendly Vehicle lock: Lock-on weapons do not lock on to friendly vehicles. The box with an X through it will still appear, but a lock tone will not sound and then if fired, the missile will not track the friendly target.
Keep in mind this is only a part of what 1.3 will include. Our live team is working diligently to provide the best update possible in preparation for the release of the Armored Fury booster pack!

Thank fark for that…. That used to really pish me off when friendlys used to show up as enemy when your in a plane.

I have dropped a crate on snipers loads of times…. Bloody great fun.
So i imagine as ea are bring the coop op thing out, that if you run a coop server its still going to be ranked?
*edit* i dont mean you as in you guys… You as in general people.
I hope the 1.3 patch will accommodate Duel Core Processors, as I was on last night for the first time since my new PC and the bloody thing crashed. 👿 It’s a right pain having to turn a processor off just to get BF2 working without getting ‘ lost connection to server messages ‘ . I managed to stay in for about ½ hr then up pops a VPU recover program resetting my graphics card. 👿 Still in the game at this time but can’t get any menus up ( i.e. the MAP and player stats. Sorry about the moan, but until EA supports us lot with duel core processors, I will have to carry on playing COD2 ( which supports Duel Core ) & RO, which indecently RO is an excellent game.

WHAT you turn off one ov your processors???!!!!111
M8 i dont think thats your problem Myself and alot more of us on here are running dual core without any problems with both cores running.As long as you have got the Dual cross cpu driver from AMD then BF2 run fine.
What ATI catalyist drivers are you running? Im using the 6.3`s the 6.4 are alittle quicker and newer but i think the image quality isnt as good.
