I have an eeepc which runs ubunto and xandros (dual boot) i installed compiz which gives the same abilities as described. it looks neat and certainly has no real processor over heads in the linux world but i have no idea what this would do to windows.
the thing i cant understand is if linux can do all these effects on an ancient intel graphics card with no real power why does vista require a 75 quid gfx card to run its second rate effects?
but at the end of the day apart from showing off the effects at conferences i cant see what use it is…

sorry for the silence – the bastards at work are actually making me do some.. not used to it at all….
i have played with placing the animation in several places but non of the look right at all – if we are going to get bugs up again – it will have to be a short bar
as for the buttons .. a psd file was included for the title but that was it – you will just have to take the button image from the site its self

we have 1 main pc at home which runs remote desktops to the various laptops scattered around the house which works a treat. and we only have to back up the main pc and not worry about the client machines.
if you dont have remote desktop available then use http://www.logmein.com – i use this to manage about 20 PCs (friends and family who cant stop pressing buttons) and access my work / home pc when i forget to do stuff.
very quick even across the internet and FREE – as it happens we have a laptop connected to the tv with vista and use that as a media PC. I down load torrents and BBC i-player (i love this baby) remotely from work so i can watch them when i get in
