I’m not arsed about being killed by xdcers, I’ve had enough practice, but non hardcore is pointless after hardcore, you pump someone full of a magazine and they turn round and kill you, in hardcore thy would have been dead, that’s what wound me up last night!
Also my computer struggles really badly on 32 player servers, it’s hard enough to shoot someone normally but a half second delay it’s well nigh impossible, that’s why you’ll find me sniping alot these days, I’m getting quite good at it too with a load of running headshots!
b ut it’s so much more satisfying and skillful to get a direct hit on a chopper without the crosshairs, it’s just more fun IMHO. I don’t mind not playing hardcore, but HC is where it’s at!
SilverSides, I didn’t buy my game through Steam but you can add it to steam and use the steam network at the same time as playing online just open steam, go to the library and clcik on “games” in the toolbar and “add non-steam game”. just add the excecutable and you can launch the game through steam. Job done.
Well I shall dissapoint you. I agree whole heartedly, plus with every choke point you get to do the same to them. Choke points have been included in the game to promote teamwork, what it really takes on vantage point is a decent arty strike or two to clear the path and a squad chasing up the hill immediately after to break through. It is rare to not have a chance to move a la BF1942 you can’t get into most of the uncaps. Of course others will disagree I’m sure, but I do think that they have balanced this game much better than previous versions when it comes to base camping. My only criticism is that the helicopters are incredibly difficult to take down with anything other than a direct hit from a tank or RPG, and they can be tricky to hit especially with a good pilot onboard (which is where you can get some real base rape)
It was great fun although their teamwork was incredible up to the second points, I killed three on the bomb, ran in and two were waiting for me. Jim and I had a couple of goers on that round before and if the defence is right the first set of charges are incredibly hard to attack, it is nade spamming but it must be done to defend it, although the feeling once broken out was incredibly good! more tonight please gentlemen, and Matt.
same same now m8, TS is used by the hardcore, never understood why people don’t join us, mooky was playing tonight, not on TS and we had too many to join his server so we didn’t get to play wiht him, shame really!
big telly? Try it on a projector, that’s where the shizzle is at. As far as changing hardware is concerned, I don’t, I can fly choppers and drive tanks with all the grace and skill of a dyspraxic cat with mouse and keyboard.
