right, this game is bloody fantastic when it works. All the issues are still there regarding the crappy net code and balance issues (although it feels more balanced than other BF games at release.

The unlock thing is stupid, the difference is palpable from the first few upgrades, but as it only took a couple of hours to unlock a healthy selection of guns I can live with that!

The maps are incredible, especially with destructive scenery, I knocked down a pylon on someone yesterday, didn’t get the kill though! I have played with Ziggzagg a couple of times, Matt reckons his is unplayable due to lack of power, and Drop has added me to his friends list but I have et to see him on. For thosse of you that want to add me my username is =XDC=Wolf (to clarify, the =XDC= bit is part of my name and not a clan tag). Hope to see some more on, it is a fun game with lots of teamwork options yet to be fully utilised (snipers are a handy respawn point!)

The graphics are refined, but not that much different I’ll grant you, the destructible terrain is more extensive, the maps are bigger, more vehicles, new maps, etc. The main difference is the destructible terrain improvements. It may just be that you chose a shit console though 😉

apparently, although I can’t verify this, there is a river at the bottom of the road which is why they jumped out, although I’ve looked at Paignton in Devon and can’t see any rivers, but can see a big feck off sea….
