Just getting “error” shouted down my ear by a hideous faux female robotic voice. It’s quite unnerving!
Legit, seem you seem to know it all, you will be aware that the data protection act only extends as far as the business world. WE are not a business, we store no information for commercial reasons and the Data protection act does not cover us. The very fact that you decided to crack Insane’s password in response, apparently, to your own guilty feelings because of past errors has everything to do with the fact that you have been a knob in the past (see above) and are now trying to atone for it by coming on here and telling us how we should run our “clan” (“I don’t like the way the recent expansion has gone”) and site.
Coincidentally, because at the time I assumed the message was aimed at me, have you any idea I have been around here? In fact no one of the “new” members (tose joined in the last year) that I can think of have commented on your postings. Regardless of whether I agree with you or not on the issue of the identity, I have been satisfied by the conversation help privately elsewhere on this board, you are not compelled to return here if you get your back up, but I guess you can never really do anything other than spoil for a fight.
For the record I was not convinced it was particularly the best thing to do to leave it unedited, but I was convinced by others that it wasn’t necessarily wrong, and after asking for their opinions and listening to them, I conceded the point. You’ve heard the arguments, it’s our site and our “clan”, let us police it as we see fit and drop the topic.
Legit, you seem to raise this issue when you are trying to deflect something from yourself, both in the “spoilers” thread and now here. How is it that you feel because we haven’t said anything publicly it means we haven’t discussed it privately (we have, both to consider the morality and the legality of the subject, and on both counts we have come to a conclusion (1) it’s perfectly legal to do such a thing (2) it’s perfectly moral. There is a lad on the course I am currently studying who put a bid in on a car one of the girls was trying to sell. She clicked on his past purchase history and discovered he had bought a load of stuff including a gimp mask and rubber stockings and rubber y fronts with mesh, etc. She then told everyone and although he was outed as a sexual deviant, he and everyone else thought it was hilarious. Shit happens.
Jolly good news, get a bit of a worry on when I hear someone else has been killed in Afghanistan. Keep plodding away at the old taleban.
Legit, if you paid attention to anything around here you would realise that you are allowed any opinion you want, but if people thinks it’s ridiculous then they will tell you. I have had many arguments with people from XDC about various things and I have not backed down from all of them and I have come across looking like a twat in many cases. I once even wittily edited a photo of Insane with his neice on and got a right bollocking for it, so I retraced it and apologised. You just don’t do that, virtually everything you post on here is with an air of “I know because of this experience…..” which makes you sound like a know it all. And to further push this facade of knowledge, when you make an incorrect judgement or statement you don’t back down. Can you not see why you irritate people?
Also regarding this breach of someones email address, regardless of what has happened on here with peoples details, it was still no justification, and just beacause you didn’t do anything once inside doesn’t make you any less guilty than the bomberrs in London who claimed that they weren’t trying to blow anything up. (note, I am not likening you to a suicide bomber, it’s just the frst thing that came to mind of a simmilar type of argument being used to yours).
If you are bored, do something which doesn’t involve peoples email addresses, like go to the cinema.
Also don’t think you are the victim here, you’re not, you have been a wanker and an utter tool and everyone who is a wanker and an utter tool gets abused. It’s the XDC way. I could show you some of the unsavoury stuff aimed at me from the private argument clinic, but that would be classified 😉

Seriously WET, what type of justification is “I was just bored” as an excuse for violating someone’s privacy? The admission does not make it all OK, he still invaded someone’s privacy. As far as I am concerned there is very little lower in this semi anonymous internet world, it’s just a version of attempting to bully someone, and quite frankly he should know better. I’m not calling for a ban because that would be more devisive than anything ewlse, but someone needs to tell him exactly what XDC as a whole thinks about what he did and why that’s just not acceptable.
If someone does ban him, I won’t complain though 😀
I used this a while ago with Alzir and a few others but can’t remember what for (think it was R6), but it looks like the only way I can possibly play COH online, wouldn’t mind giving it a try with someone at some point, dying for an online game at the mo! Someone please do this with me! Please!
