I don’t know, I come on for 20 minutes, dominate Pod and Pharty (kept shooting them down with missile launcher as the hovered above my head in attack chopper thingy!) leave for 5 minutes, come back and there is NO ONE left playing. this sucks guys! First gay Ventrilo which has confused the bejesus out of all of us (well me) and absolutely sucks, and now no one playing 2142! jeez, what’s happeing?
Vent, as always, sucks. On every machine and every connection it has lagged my computer to shit, continually drops out and tbh, the sound quality may be slightly better, but it was more than clear enough on TS, which also has a friendlier interface.
The only advantage of Vent is that I can have myself anounced as “wanker” when I enter a room. Apart from that I would rather go back to TS!

Very Violent, very graphic, disturbingly good.
I’m thinking that the router is fucked, and that every time I try and reconnect either ArmA or Ventrilo scans some ports (which brings up a security warning on the evil bitches computer) and as a result I am no longer allowed to play ArmA. Although I have no idea why ArmA disconnects more than BF2142, which is just laggy as hell. It wouldn’t suprise me if they were limiting the amount of bandwith I have and disconnect me randomly for shits and giggles. Also fully expecting to find a key logger on my computer at some point.

[vent]The game appaerntly crashes my network so I have been banned from playing it by the Nazi housemate who thinks Hitler was alright but a bit soft. Of course I could probably fix the problem with the router but her and her boyf have decided that they are in charge of the internet connection and have decided not to igive out the bastard password and so I have to get one of them to type it in every time I need it. Of course the router is locked in their room and they are utter cunts about everything, but what can you expect from fervent UKIP supporters.[/vent]
Lordy, that’s a bit old, yeah, great film, someone nicked my copy 🙁 Anyway, if you liked that you will like the mini series that span off from it, “Cidade de Homens” (City of Men).
Apparently shown on BBC4 in 2004, either way, I recommend getting it. Oh and after they made the film it lead to a gang war as most of the actors they used we from the favellas and apparently used the film to exact a bit of revenge, anyway, people died, it was sad.
Also, check out the documentary on the DVD, it’s both scary and compelling.

Turks, I was going to watch that this evening too. Weird. Although it is probably my favourite film.
Vent sucks, it’s official, and since I’ve been online not seen that many people online, me thinks this dicking around has made it harder to keep in touch, we should just all use TS like we used to!
