any one watched this? i never heard of it before.
chored the dvd off my flatmate yesterday, brill flick i thought.

Yeah I borrowed this off a mate too, then bought it.
One of the best films I have ever seen in my life.

Lordy, that’s a bit old, yeah, great film, someone nicked my copy 🙁 Anyway, if you liked that you will like the mini series that span off from it, “Cidade de Homens” (City of Men).
Apparently shown on BBC4 in 2004, either way, I recommend getting it. Oh and after they made the film it lead to a gang war as most of the actors they used we from the favellas and apparently used the film to exact a bit of revenge, anyway, people died, it was sad.
Also, check out the documentary on the DVD, it’s both scary and compelling.

Personally I am a very big fan of French Cinema (especially if it has Audrey Tautau in) like Amelie, A very Long Engagement or even Delicatessen.
I astound myself with my pretentiousness!

no, but seen Baise Moi, which means kiss me or fuck me, depending on the context. Given the context of this film is that it has ex porn stars in it as the main characthers and contains a horrific rape scene, I’m guessing they meant the latter.
Very Violent, very graphic, disturbingly good.

Sorry Insane, I just had to check my calender, you haven’t seen this yet? FFS, at least JM is in the extremes of the colonial outreaches, where I hear they have just got their first moving pictures theatres!
