greetings judge, how are things on the other side of the World ?
I’m impressed with how quick the maps load in 2142, no 2 minute waits, all over in around 30 seconds!
It seems odd that only a few chaps are getting the ctd’s, do you perhaps share a common denominator in your hardware/software setup ? Were you both testers and perhaps have a corrupted registry file? I hope you guys get it sorted soon.
yeah thanks guys…………the problem wasn’t with renaming etc it was to do with the fact i’ve still got the “test” BF2142 on my pc and i was changing the files in the wrong folder!! I’ve since sorted it and its all ok, i normally rename them .old instead of.bik but i guess anything will work.

Thats assuming they allow T-shirts in womens prisons….you never mentioned what she was in for before ? 😉nah sane, i only seemed to have a problem on our server, went and played on a few others with no probs……..in fact thinking about it i did have real bad lag on another server that was multiplay but i put it down to me messing with my gfx settings at the time.
cheers, he doesn’t have a chipped PS2, i take it my effort has been a waste of them then 😕

😀I’m downoading a copy of this from bittorrents for the PS2…i’ve no idea if it will work or not so would like some pointers from the techie types to tell me what needs to be done to get the game to work. Its for my mates son who doesn’t play online.
The files all seem to be rar files, do i unzip them all then put them into a seperate folder or is there something else i should do with them all ? Also, do they go on a CDRW, CDR or DVD ??
I’ve not tried this before so its all new to me therefore any help is always appreciated.Ta very much.

Von, i think with wireless you get a certain amount of packet loss thus that can end up with lag, bad connection etc when gaming. I have a wireless router but have my gaming pc hardwired into it for that reason.
nah, the fucking things been borked all day!! I tried so many times today to get on our server that in the end i’ve given up, i managed to stay online once for about 40 minutes but suffered lag yet in other servers i’m playing lag free and no disconnects……… 😕
I’m seriously starting to wonder if Multiplay have our server running on a 486 or summut!!
