just watched the full 21 minutes video and this game is weighing up to be bloody good!
The titan mode seems very well thought out, it certainly encourages team work, a lot more than BF2 i reckon, it involves a team attacking numerous missile silos to gain the control over them in order to fire missiles at the titan so that the shield may be depleted thus allowing your team to then attack the inside of the titan. Once inside you have to attack the core of the titan but before you can get there you have secondary objectives to complete, i think taking out the main controls first then blowing the secure doors before you make it to the core.
All the while, your team still has to defend their own titan as well as perhaps keep the missile silos in their control in order to prevent the enemy gaining the control of them and taking out the shields on your titan!The squad leader now has the option of putting down a “spawn beacon”, it works pretty much like the trap door did in BFV, it can be placed anywhere the squad leader pleases and allows his squad mates to spawn at that point, it also survives after he dies but it can be destroyed by the enemy much as the trap doors could in BFV, in the video the guy places the spawn point by one of the missile silos so that although its taken over by the enemy when he spawns back he’s in place to regain control.
The weapons look great, and the APC with the pods gives bunny-hopping across the map whole new meaning!! The apc allows you to be fired up into the air to be able to board the titan, however it can also be used for traversing a large portion of the map and also for getting into those very high spots if you fancy a bit of sniping…..the range it fires you seems bloody long so i won’t be surprised if they tone it down a little bit.
I guess i’m wishing my life away but roll on the Autumn, i think i’m hooked on this game, a lot more than i thought i would be!

Beginning of June is fine, in fact better for me as i will hopefully have done my exam by then and also finished the rewire…
The rewire has been delayed for about 4 weeks as one of the buyers decided to do a bit of gazumping!! a small fuckup that could potentially cost my cousin 15k in costs!
Anyhows, i see there wasn’t much response so i guess we shall try again…..
Anyone fancy a drink up one evening this or next week, depending on your commitments……..in fact if we say the middle of next week, that gives you a whole 10 days or so to sort summat out!!

i agree, its very BF in style, is that a bad thing ? i don’t think so, it will be interesting to see how it plays compared to BF2142, what their netcode is like, any memory leaks etc.
