depends what part of Streatham, what part of Putney, time of day/night and route taken.
Sorry i threw the toys out the pram there wolf but i hear that shit all the time from ill informed people who think we earn a fucking fortune and are doing £20 jobs every few minutes! The truth is far from that and in the current climate we are the first ones along with restaurants etc to feel the pinch. There has been many times recently where i’ve earn’t a fiver in a hour! Sometimes a job like you mentioned can be the saving grace of the evening.
Next time i’m down that way i’ll time it from Streatham to Putney 😉

I can’t be arsed to argue about taxi fares……………..seemingly i study for 3 years to get my licence but people begrudge me earning a living; try paying my expenses on the price you suggest i do that job for ? You drive around London at 3am and pick up the shit i have to, put up with the aggro i have to and then tell me you would happily do a Streatham to Putney for a fiver!!
I’m not going to continue to justify my fares or costs. Many on here have studied at uni, yourself included in order to better yourself and put yourself into a wage bracket far in excess of many others. Why should i be any different because i chose to be a cabbie as opposed to a teacher or IT consultant ? I don’t berate any others for the money they earn or the prices they charge! In fact the opposite, if anyone on here is doing well i applaud them!
It’s simple wolf, you don’t like the price, don’t use us! Our meter is regulated by the authorities so at least you know it isn’t altered or made up by the driver. We have all done the knowledge and our vehicles pass stringent testing every year. You’re guaranteed to be insured should the worse happen and you’re involved in an accident. You can always call Addison Lee or any other private hire company but may find that many have a minimum of £15-£20.
I’ve told you before, if you’re ever in London let me know and i’ll happily meet you for a beer or give you a life somewhere for free but i’m afraid i take it very personally when my industry is attacked with unfair accusations.
One last thing, Streatham to Putney in 15 minutes ? Guess whoever normally takes you goes a bit faster than the permitted speed limit 😉

doc, i couldn’t assign any actions to the numerical keypad. I think i may have had problems with the right Ctrl key as well (though not 100% sure as it’s sometime ago) 😕

i really have no idea about death ratios, like insane i’m not into the whole stats thing but i’d guess at 2 kills for every 8 deaths 😯 (1 in 4)
I bought cod4 but didn’t like the control system. I’m left handed so use my number pad and arrow keys for control but found i couldn’t use half the keys i’m used to! got fed up and haven’t played it since.

my mouse is a standard logitech 2 button optical wheel mouse. Hold it in my left hand, reasonably tightly. My movement is generally from the wrist and the sensitivity is the standard configuration. My kill ratio is awful.
As for NLP, i’ve only read a little about it but i can see how it could be effective.
