ParticipantTried 1 at a trade show back when they were first starting to market them… EGN I think or some other …. but anyways they look nice and sound cool, but they’re toss tbh and nothing a sticker on a normal keyboard couldn’t beat. The idea of foldable/replaceable keys is nice, but the execution fails to deliver… oh and they don’t work in Mac OS X or XP x64-bit =/ For less thna that Tess(tickles!) you could have gotten a Saitek Eclipse like mine… well like the 1 my dog broke last night hehe… really cool blue glow and you can see the letters as you type in the dark ๐

ParticipantSome possible good news – it seems the council had CCTV on the street because of prositutes in the area. bad news is, they may have been at the other end of the street, or facing the wrong way…
It’s a shame the police don’t give enough of a shit to bother tracing the guy who called the ambulance – either he or his friend was taking pics on their camera phone which could help prove stuff, but tbh it seems like I’ll have to find my own proof, as apparently police investiagtors don’t actually investigate anything… =/

ParticipantSlight problem – When I handed in my documents the driver is coming out with some kind of bullshit that I was driving on the wrong side and the road and not looking – roflmao…
To top it off, he is claiming he was alone in the car; but I’m sure (but I could be wrong) that he had a passenger.
Even funnier….
The crash was surrounded by people in the street … yet when the police asked for witnesses, no one saw a thing?? FFS there was some guy on his cameraphone taking pics and a guy who I was stood behind in the shop que before the crash was there too!!
He did have insurance, but still it’s looking like I’m going to get thoroughly shafted by his BS =/

ParticipantSaw that 3 years ago too ๐
Seriusly if you like that sort of shityou should check http://www.gizmag.co.uk and http://www.newscientist.com weekly ๐
The only problem I can see with that though is he got a lot of thrust but not a lot of aerofoils to keep it off the ground – it’s more of a small plane than a hover car tbh ๐
There is a true hover car out there, more of a drone though as it has to be tethered down in case of strong winds sending it off course and propelling into somenes face ๐

ParticipantI’ve decided I’m officially safer by riding like a twat =/ Atleast when going at speed, the engine is whailing like a banshee so everyone can hear me coming, and when they see me up their arse in the mirror doing a lifesaver they know I’m going to overtake so they get the fuck out of the way. I’ll die on my bike, but atleast I’ll get to enjoy it this way before I go and when I do go it will be my fault.
I’m sick to death of doing the right thing at the right time and somehow always getting shafted by doing so =/

ParticipantBleh easier said than done when I’m paying รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ800 a year for Third Party Alone… Won’t even entertain paying รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ2k a year fully comp -sod’s law would have it that if by a miracle I found the cash then I wouldn’t have a crash. Seriously though how often do you expect oncoming traffic to swerve right into you from the opposite lane, I did all my checks etc but not even riding defensively could ever save you from that breed of mongrol. I’ll still pick up another bike as and when I can afford it though – I’d rather die on my bike than in my sleep ๐ Shittest thing of all though is I had my wireless router and all kinds of patent related crap for me to deal with under the seat and now the bike is in an impound with a รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ130 charge and I’m flat broke. Oh and my dog nosed around my desk when I was out and knocked a cup of water onto my Saitek Eclipse keyboard and totally fucked it hehe =/
Insane BTW – Arai kick ass, they may have en exchange fucked-for-new helmet policy as it’s pretty much 1 of the higher class of manufacturers and my model was the next 1 down from the top of the range (out of a large range :P) so I’ll give that a look into.

ParticipantNah he stuck around, after my bike flew in the air it sort of landed in his windshield I think then bounced off hehe, not really sure though tbh as I was too busy bouncing off his car and into the air. The driver was unharmed, but question is now: a) will he have insurance so I can claim and b) will he appeal against the claim with some bullshit that it’s ok to pull into oncoming traffic when you’re driving right at them… =/ Bit shit he just needs a new windscreen and some driving lessons whilst I need a new bike, helmet, and some R&R though ๐ Bad enough paying for 2 bikes that were stolen and 3rd I got scammed with a fucked engine FFS to have that on top ๐ฟ
Bleh seems my mobile is broken too =/

ParticipantMay be worth trying Sega Rally.
Back in 1995 it was the king of console driving games and despite the graphics by todays standards ebign totally toss, as a game it has still stood the test of time and put’s current generation games to shame with it’s playability.
You can probably pick up a second-hand saturn for fuck all and the game is so common you’ll probably get it free with the saturn. There is a PC version too, but tbh I’ve never tried it and I’d probably prefer the Saturn controller anyway.
There was a Sega rally 2 for Dreamcast around 2000, it practically improved the game in every way imagineable and had a major graphical update, but for some reason I still prefer the courses and the charm of the ancient-looking original…
truck games ain’t really as interesting in some ways because of the nature of a big as heavy truck, means it’s shite to steer and slow to accelerate. But on the other hand, taking a behemoth sideways around corners flicking cars off the road in big Mutha Truckers was quite fun too ๐
One of my favourite driving games (more so on multiplayer) was Vigilante 8: 2nd Offence on the Dreamcast. The game on the whole didn’t get amazing press reviews and it was hardly a sales sucess, but a few m8s and that on the go sure did make us chuckle, only wonder why so many people missed out on the chance to appreciate it…
