Note to alzir/hippo – max can fly battlecruisers now – I gave him the cash for the skillbook but nowhere near can afford to buy him the ship, can anyone sort him out a few bucks for a battlecruiser? ๐

“York’s peace offer to Scots
Citizens of York are being asked to sign a treaty promising never to shoot Scots with a bow and arrow.
Under an ancient by-law, which has never been repealed, York people can “legally” shoot Scotsmen with a bow and arrow within the city walls.
But a couple from the city are walking 240 miles to Edinburgh to present the Lord Provost with a “peace treaty”.
Ewan and Gill Main have asked York residents to sign their treaty in a bid to improve Anglo-Scottish relations, and raise money for Survive, a charity which helps child victims of sexual abuse, .
Each signatory must promise to never shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow, and to make Scots feel welcome in York.
Mr and Mrs Main will set off on September 8, and hope to arrive in Edinburgh two weeks later, reports the Scotsman.”
Nice review Von and it pumped me up so much I subscribed to Fileplanet to become a Beta tester myself. Unfortunately I wasn’t quite impressed with 2142 ๐
Snipers: Have the ability to snipe people at long ranges, but there is either no one snipable (in a vehicle) or when they’re on foot they’re harder than a bastard to spot because of their clothes and environment. Remember those invisicamo clothes from 1942? They’re back =/
Assault: Couldn’t assault his way into a paper bag let alone the fuck back out, but atleast now they are medics too.
Engineer: Seems to be the new anti tank, however IMO the mines are a waste of time – what’s the point of an EM mine when you can go have EM grenades with the same effect and othe rpimp stuff too as support…
Support: NERF HIM!! Not only does he have a big gun and can spit out ammo for people, but he has a sentry turret which he can pop out in awkward places to pump your ass and when he gets his ass into an awkward place himself, he can become BULLETPROOF!! Underpowered class by any chance? I think not!
Tanks. Ok it’s the future – we have the technology! The thing can hover over anything on the battlefield, except minor bloody obstacles. To top it off it can’t even steer – granted yeah it’s supposed to hover but anyone who should be able to have pimp weapons and pimp tanks should be able to give it atleast medium-pimp steering?
Aircraft: So easy to fly and hover who needs a helicopter? Literally taking the skill out of raping flags but has as much use in the Battlefield as toilet duck.
The UI/HUD in general, yeah ok so it’s a futuristic game so they made it look spacey, but it looks shit and feels weird =/
Why does the parachute button have to be on the same button as the jump button? ๐

Sold mine last year ๐ Quite good tbh but the BF1942 demo (which had literally only just been ported to OS X…) ran, albeit with medium-crap gfx. On the plus side got to play on wake island to still get my fix as I had no pc, and all the mac guys thoguht I was hacking because I was kicking their asses/shooting them down in my J-10/AR ๐
I’ve seen a fair few laptops on FAt32 but I’ve been out of circulation for a few months and getting a bit rusty, but IIRC FAT32 is better for smaller drives such as those on laptops ๐ก I’m sure there is a method to the madness but I can’t for the life of me rememebr why atm ๐ฅ
I’ve got some original media unreleased games, pre-production samples and various prototypes if they float your boat ๐ At the minute if I had รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ300 that would do me a new radiator for my bike after crashing it, but as you probably ain’t a biker and even more likely don’t have a deathwish I’d pop that รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ300 into something like a qualification: ie part p electrical or a basic IT qualification. It would help you either get a better job, a job, or earn some extra bucks on the side and be better in the long run ๐ You can almost never have enough gadgets, beer and strippers, but you can never have enough qualifications or education ๐
