It’s not the programs installed that will slow the PC, It’s what loads on start up and what processes you are running. The Toshiba shit is usual for tosh laptops – You need to keep things like software modem, Tosh hotkeys and controls (allows you to change bios settings whilst in windows)
You’d be better off (if XP) running msconfig and see what starts up on boot and get rid of some of them not uninstalling programs. Also after laptop boot see what processes are running and find out if you need em – Process explorer from systernals or liutilities or google search should tell you what the processes are part of.
Failing that – run msconfig and select start up and then take a screenie, run task manager and select processes and take a screenie – post here and get the tech heads among us to suggest what to remove
Oh an Lammie, I’m not an accredited specialist! I got the hardware and software Tosh engineer qualifications but they don’t mean a lot – Turk’s issue is with windows running slow.
Oh yeah turks , there maybe a bios setting that will increase the speed a bit – what tosh is it ? I’ll look it up in the service manuals

It’s not a ‘sick note’ you pay for! Letters, notes of any other kind my doctor charges for ie: My boss doesn’t beleive I was sick and I need the doctor to confirm it, or I need lighter duties shorter hours etc or I was off as my kid was sick etc etc. Our doctors will charge you รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ16 for this. If they recomend you stay off work and you have already used you statutary 3 days then they can do this without charge.
