I,ve been playing 2142 since it came out and am getting a little bored with the current choice of maps, and also am starting to hate playing Titan games…same oh, same oh! 🙄

The only video work i,ve done involved strapping videos to motorbikes and tearing around a race track for a few hours, so i dont feel qualified to offer advice, but what an adventure your gona have…WTG! 😀

Yep…this was one of the first things we did. 🙄
Im now thinking it could be down to the memory as i,ve checked the available Physical memory in the system info. and its only 421.77MB 😕

I must admit i run 2142 on both my main pc and my laptop with only a gig of ram, so im not sure thats the problem really….but i,ll tell my son to have a look to see what other programs are running in the background.

did you uninstall previous gfx driver?

When i downloaded the driver, i just let ATi sort it out, have checked in device manager and it gives the new driver details so i assume it has been installed ok…..the game was CTD before i installed the driver.
System spec off the top of my head is something like:
3 gig ish chip, 700 odd of ram, radeon 9600 with loads of space on HD.
